James Postle has worked in the British independent school sector for over 30 years and has served on Senior Leadership Teams across three boarding schools since 2002, most recently as Deputy Head (Enrolment and Partnerships) at Millfield School. Previously, he was Director of Admissions and Communications at Epsom College, where he oversaw external relations and helped found Epsom Malaysia, before becoming Head of the 11–13 Junior School and a Housemaster at Blundell’s.

For the last 13 years at Millfield, James has been responsible for the strategic recruitment of more than 450 new pupils each year at the UK’s largest co‑educational boarding school. He has travelled extensively, building a network of international partners and shaping Millfield’s overseas expansion, while advising families from over 70 countries on pathways into UK education. He brings deep insight into selective admissions, scholarships, and school fit across top British boarding schools, offering practical guidance from first inquiry to successful placement—clear timelines, transparent criteria and detailed knowledge of the leading schools. With a calm, globally informed perspective that honours each student’s ambitions and aligns academics, activities, and character development, James supports AAA families through every step of the journey, from finding the right school to thriving in transition and building toward long‑term success for our student athletes.
